Maybe you haven’t heard yet, but you’ve been challenged. The environmental group Moving Planet Sacramento has planned a 24-day rally to implement solutions to climate change, starting September 1. It’s part of a larger global movement called 350.org, and it culminates on September 24, with a day sans fossil fuels. The cool thing is you can decide what your own eco-challenge is, although www.sac-movingplanet.com has some good suggestions, like participating in “Meatless Mondays,” using alternative transportation, and volunteering with groups like Soil Born Farms and the Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen.
