Issue: June 23, 2016

          Morning, readers!
Every year CN&R puts together a special Entrepreneurs Issue to highlight
some of the inventive, artistic, business-savvy folks who live and work
around us. This week, we bring you just that, with a focus on business
owners who sell products both locally and globally and also do their
manufacturing here. Those products range from wooden sunglasses to
decorative flour-sack towels. So, read up on some enterprising locals!
In other news: A street pastor in Oroville leads the charge to clean up
Bedrock Park; the Chico City Council approves a budget, after some
confusion; and I did a taste test of some locally made cauliflower pizza
dough (hmph!).
Read on, dear readers. And stay cool out there.
