Local comedian Keith Lowell Jensen, whose first CD was recorded during a live show at Luna’s Café & Juice Bar, is back to do it again, this time at the Sacramento Comedy Spot—and he wants your laughter immortalized for posterity. This is Jensen on marijuana and paranoia: “They say marijuana makes you paranoid. I think that might be because they keep arresting people for it. I mean, masturbation makes you paranoid if you live with your parents.” The album, tentatively titled Cats Made of Rabbits, may or may not include marijuana and masturbation jokes, but it will probably include a bit of the atheist comedy Jensen has contributed as a member of The Coexist? Comedy Tour. He told SN&R that he’d be riffing on “the penis argument against creationism, the good old days that weren’t, the drugs I don’t do and cats made of rabbits.” Chazz Hawkins will open.

Keith Lowell Jensen CD-taping show, 8 p.m., doors open at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 4. $12, general seating only. Sacramento Comedy Spot, 1050 20th Street; (916) 444-3137; www.saccomedyspot.com.
