Bad smells

If you’re like most women, you probably have a more than four lifetime supplies of fragrant soaps, lotions, lip glosses, body splashes and hair sprays. But what impact do all of those products have on the environment? Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, UC Davis graduate students in the Responding to Rapid Environmental Change, or REACH, program will speak on this issue in a workshop called “Fragranced personal care products and environmental change.” The workshop happens Friday, September 16, on the UC Davis campus, 1 Shields Avenue, in Life Sciences Room 1022. Students will be joined by experts from academia and the private sector.
