Fishy drip

As this week’s cover attests, downtown’s Chocolate Fish Coffee (Third and Q streets, www.chocolatefishcoffee.com) is serious about its coffee. And Fish now offers drip brews by the cup. Ground fresh per serving, there are several roasts to try, such as the El Salvador single origin, Tierra Fertil, which is smooth, not too acidic and finishes clean. The drip brews are only available on weekends, but considering how quiet the cafe’s large patio is on Saturdays and Sundays, that’s more of an incentive than a limitation.
