Ian Bone

“I’m not quite sure what the unifying theme would be other than the fact that I completely identify with these songs and the exhaustion portrayed within them. So, I guess the theme might be ‘The State of Being Exhausted,’” explained Ian Bone, bassist for the local indie-rock outfit Red Host. The band—which includes singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe and drummer Jess Gowrie—specializes in moody rock that hearkens to the raw, edgy sound of early P.J. Harvey. See Red Host live when they take the stage at the Press Club on Sunday, November 25 at 4 p.m.
