Food Stuff

When you want to eat out in Clarksburg, there is only one place to go, literally, and that’s the . The diner is actually a wood-shingled trailer, parked on the levee near the town’s main drag. The tiny kitchen is operated by the “retired” owners of the Clarksburg Marina, located a stone’s throw away. The diner offers breakfast sandwiches and coffee, and there are burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, shakes and sodas for lunch. The outdoor dining area, landscaped with well-tended rose bushes and grass underfoot, provides a great view of the languid river and a gathering place for locals that stream in. Portions are ample, cooked to order and served up at an unhurried Delta pace. Heck, we’d come here even if this wasn’t the only joint in town.
