Issue: July 02, 2009

Hey everybody,Another week, another great Reno News & Review. As gas prices begin their annual summer increase, we all think about using public transportation more. But how often do we take the time to actually plan a trip to Meadowood Mall, let alone a business trip across state lines? That’s just what our first-time contributor Brian Morris did. And do you know what? With planning, a good attitude, and a commitment to overcoming obstacles, it’s possible--and inexpensive--to do interstate commerce from the comfort of a bus. And not that we planned a themed issue, but this week’s Arts&Culture story focuses on a wild band of moped riders, Los Dorados. Did you know those things can get 100 miles to the gallon? Please, check out the links below, and as always, thank you for reading the Reno News & Review. If it weren’t for you, we’d be sad, lonely and unemployed.Brian
