Chico State opens application process for spring

For a limited time only and only for certain people, Chico State is accepting applications for the coming spring semester.

From Aug. 1-31, the university is accepting applications for “fully-qualified upper-division transfer students from our local service area,” according to Chico State’s Campus Announcements. Additionally, credential candidates graduating this fall and nursing students are eligible to apply.

Previously, due to mandated declines in enrollment, the university was predicting a spring with no admissions. Those interested should note that the applications are conditional; actual admission will be determined based on fall enrollment figures and a state budget.

Applicants who aren’t admitted have two options thereafter: get a refund of the application fee or defer the application to the fall 2011 semester.
