Green Grammies

The Sacramento Metro Chamber and the Business Environmental Resource Center are teaming up for the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Awards. This green Grammy ceremony of sorts happens Thursday, September 6, at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel (1230 J Street), highlighting and awarding local businesses that utilize environmentally conscious working practices. There will also be a sustainability expo, workshops on environmental business regulations, and guest speakers, such as Anthony Eggert, executive director of the UC Davis Policy Institute for Energy, Environment and the Economy.
