You’ve probably already heard via television advertisements, but the Prii are coming—“Prii” being the plural of Prius, as voted by the public on Toyota’s website. By spring of 2012, there will be four models of Prii: the Prius V (a hatchback), the Prius C (a compact version), the Prius 3rd Generation and the Prius Plug-in Hybrid. Clarification: the Prius 3rd Generation is the normal Prius you’re accustomed to, unless you’ve already modified yours to be a plug-in hybrid. If not, Toyota’s factory plug-in model will help extend the Prius’ electric charge capability, improving the vehicle’s range and fuel economy.
