Time starts again

The downtown Sparks pedestal clock, once non-functional with one face lacking hands entirely (“No time for the west,” RN&R, March 10, 2011), is back in business. The repairs to the clock cost just $1,950. A similar clock, removed from downtown Reno to Park Lane Mall in the 1960s, was returned downtown in August 2013 after repairs were made to it, too.
