Rescue By Dennis Myers This article was published on 07.05.12 The Sierra Street Bridge was jammed, and traffic backed up on June 29 as emergency workers rescued a boy from the Truckee River. He and his family were downtown, and he was playing in the water with a plastic inflatable float when the rushing water pulled him into the current. Fortunately, the river was low, and he was caught on a gravel rise that had emerged from the river under the bridge.Photo by DENNIS MYERS More Local Stories » News Pic Living history Published on 06.28.12 Bucket billboard Renoites write their hopes for all to see.
