Broad satire with a particularly Chico spin is awaiting any and all who dare enter The Senator Theatre, at 517 Main St. in downtown Chico. Aaron Standish (right, seen here abusing a rubber chicken), partner Liz Merry (middle, finally remembering where she set that lit stick of dynamite) and Quasimodo-like comedic henchman John Bertoli (left, contemplating the genuine significance of Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle) will doubtless unleash an evening of penetrating slapstick, sharp songs and all-purpose tomfoolery.
