Pictured is L.A.-based metal band Prototype, hitting Chico this weekend at no less than two separate venues on two separate evenings. Formed from the remnants of thrash band Psychosis, bassist Kirk Sherer, guitarist-vocalist Vince Levalois and guitarist Kragen Lum have pounded out a distinctive style for themselves, in spite of having a problem keeping a regular drummer!
