Turn that frown upside down

Darrel Ng runs the site www.cowtowneats.com, where you can find out who’s serving what for local happy hours. He says these three have some outstanding happy-hour food in the downtown area:

Morton’s is not cheap, but their bar bites are a great way to eat quality food while paying Black Angus prices. Sliders or crab cakes for $5 are an amazing deal! I only wish they had drink specials, too.

McCormick & Schmick’s have a great mix of cheap eats on any given day, from the $2 burger to $5 half-shell oysters. Their menu changes frequently, but whatever they’re serving, the food’s always a great deal.

“If you’re a sushi lover like me, you’ll love Mikuni’s happy hour. They have some of their most popular and delicious rolls for a fraction of the normal price. They’ve also recently expanded their happy hour to the weekend. (And unlike the others on this list, they have drink specials, too!)”
