Yu-Gi-huh?

Yu-Gi-Oh. If you have to ask, you’ll never know.

Yu-Gi-Oh. If you have to ask, you’ll never know.

I’m not going to pretend. I have no idea what Yu-Gi-Oh is. I can barely recognize a Pikachu. Nonetheless, I don’t want my ignorance to prevent local gaming enthusiasts from knowing about Sunday’s Sacramento Comic Book and Collectible Show. There will be tournaments in Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, PlayStation 2 video games and Magic. Steve Oliff, colorist for Spawn and Uncanny X-Men, will teach a class in comics coloring at 1 p.m. Meet Daniel Brereton, creator of The Nocturnals, and Tomm Coker, artist for Blood + Water. Buy, sell or trade comics, action figures and Yu-Gi-Oh cards (whatever they are). It all happens Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 6151 H Street. Admission is $4. Call (916) 395-1107 for info.
