Don’t expect to see the Toilet Bowl Race on the program at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

The 2004 Olympic Games won’t be held in Fair Oaks, but the 55th annual Fair Oaks Fiesta will, and this year’s theme is “Spirit of the Olympics.” On the program, attendees will find the Diaper Derby Baby Race, where babies who are still on all fours will race, er, crawl to the finish line. If that doesn’t get your adrenaline pumping, there’s always the Toilet Bowl Race. Watch as people on modified commodes race through the main thoroughfare. The two-day event also includes a petting zoo, pony rides and a variety of food and craft booths. The family fun begins this Saturday at 7 a.m. and is free for spectators (competitors must register ahead of time and pay a fee). The games will be held in Fair Oaks Village at the corner of California Avenue and Park Drive. Call (916) 967-2903 or visit www.fairoakschamber.com for more information.
