Two, two, two birthdays in one!
Baby Maria, the Sacramento Zoo’s youngest chimpanzee, is having her first birthday! It’s been a big year for Maria, and the whole community is invited to come out and see how she’s grown. Maria’s not the only one getting older, though. The zoo itself turns 75 this year! On, January 5, the Sacramento Zoo hosts a double birthday celebration from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Listen to lectures about primates, visit with Maria, enjoy games, crafts and displays of the zoo’s 75 year history in Land Park.
