Since 2006, Sacramento-based women's choral group Vox Musica has collaborated with the Sacramento Baroque Soloists, Sacramento Taiko Dan and the Nada Brahma Music Ensemble. But this year's season-closing performances (one on Saturday, May 4, and one on Sunday, May 5) also include puppets and illustrations. In “Replay: Musical Settings of Bedtime Stories,” Vox Musica will create a musical interpretation for stories and poems such as “Wynken, Blynken, and Nod” and E.E. Cummings' “Maggie and Milly and Molly and May.” Through song and narration and the puppet mastery of guest artist Christopher Carlson, these stories will entertain audiences of all ages.
