Grammy-winning artist India.Arie hit it big with her acoustic neo-soul sound when she was 25. In 2001, her debut album, Acoustic Soul, which featured the hit single “Video,” showed up on the Billboard 200 at No. 10 in the states. Since then, she has released four studio albums and is finishing up a fifth. She’s performed with John Mellencamp, Stevie Wonder and even appeared on Sesame Street for a duet with Elmo.
