Sacramento is now home to some new electric-vehicle chargers. Electric-vehicle-infrastructure company EV Connect announced last month that thanks to Assembly Bill 118 funding, it upgraded existing charging equipment in six Sacramento locations. Electric-vehicle owners can take advantage immediately, as these chargers are free and ready to use. Charging locations include: the parking garages at Third and L streets, and 10th and I streets, the California Air Resources Board, the CalPERS building, the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, and the West Sacramento California Fuel Cell Partnership. These chargers are compatible with most electric-vehicle models.
