California Stage presents the premiere of a new play by Richard Broadhurst, whose scripts have been done locally at the Sacramento Theater Company and River Stage, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Winter’s Waltz involves two strangers—one black, one white, from different generations—who meet in New York City in the 1970s. The production pairs distinguished veteran actor Loren Taylor with Tory Scoggins (Celebration Arts and independent films), Janis Stevens directs. Fri 8pm, Sat 8pm, Sun 2pm.
