Pick it up

The American River is a wonderful host for our outdoor adventures. Return her hospitality by donating a few hours to the Great American River Clean Up. The American River Parkway Foundation coordinates this volunteer trash collection effort at 22 riverside sites each year, in conjunction with California’s Coastal Cleanup Day. Last year, Californians picked up 1.3 million pounds of trash statewide. With Sacramento County’s budget cutbacks, pitching in is more important than ever.
