One, two, cha cha cha

You’re flipping through the channels on your TV and you spot a ballroom dance competition on PBS or yet another replay of Dirty Dancing on the “Saturday Afternoon Movie.” Your remote finger pauses in mid-air as you become transfixed by the graceful choreography of the couples on the screen. If this sounds familiar, don’t miss the Telemark Ballroom Dance Troupe’s 2001 Showcase. Some of the best dancers in Northern California will perform Latin, swing and ballroom dance routines for the delight of all you armchair waltzers. Tickets are $8.
