Guinness: it’s not just for breakfast anymore
My friend swears that Guinness Stout and multi-vitamins are all that is required for nutritional survival. This may be true, but in the interests of culinary variety, some of our local stout connoisseurs have created the Cooking With Guinness contest. Previous winners have included Guinness chicken mole, Guinness-poached salmon and cake à la Guinness. If you want to compete, it’ll cost you $10 to enter a dish. If you just want to sample the fruits of others’ labor, $15 will buy you a taste of everything.
