Mr. Woodchuckles

All right, who put glue on the microphone?

Remember Dave Coulier? You know, Full House's Joey Gladstone—the (rumored) guy Alanis Morissette sang about giving a hummer to in a theater in “You Oughta Know.”

He's still around, and will be performing at Tommy T's Comedy & Dinner Theatre in Rancho Cordova over the weekend. We know, we know: Cut. It. Out.

Coulier's enjoyed an interesting career. Before living with the Tanner family, he voiced baby Animal and baby Dr. Bunsen Honeydew on Jim Henson's animated Muppet Babies series. He also earned his stand-up stripes performing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

Today, Coulier is back in the stand-up game, cracking wise to roomfuls of grown-up 1990s kids. We're not sure what to expect, but we're hoping he stays true to his roots. Here's to Kimmy Gibbler, Mr. Woodchuck and the drunk guy in the back of the club repeatedly yelling, “You got it, dude!”

How rude.

Friday, July 19, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.; and Saturday, July 20, at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; $25-$30. Tommy T's Comedy & Dinner Theatre, 12401 Folsom Boulevard; (916) 357-5233; www.davecoulier.tv.
