Me Myself I

Rated 3.0 Ever wonder what would have happened if a past love or acquaintance had become your significant other? Did Wilson Pickett get it right when he sang “Don’t let the green grass fool ya”? Rachel Griffiths (Oscar-nominated for her work in Hilary and Jackie) stars as an Australian magazine writer who has made a general mess of her personal life. While wallowing in regret, she literally runs into a stranger who takes her back to the future, sort of. Griffith is beguiling in this amusing cousin to Sliding Doors. The rock soundtrack is excellent, but the dramatic elements of the film bog down in the second act. Written and directed by Pip Karmel.
