Italian American Reconciliation

Rated 4.0

B Street’s new production of John Patrick Shanley’s Italian American Reconciliation has a Moonstruck vibe, as schmucky good fella Aldo (David Pierini) as he’s unwillingly involved in his buddy Huey’s (John Lamb) plans to reconcile with his mean ex-wife, Janice (Lee Fitzpatrick). That means he has to break up with his current girlfriend, Teresa (Nancy Zoppi). Mix in some smart Italian aunt advice from May (Barbara Gruen), and you’ve got a domestic farce of the first order. Tu 6:30pm, W 2pm and 6:30pm, Th and F 8 pm, Sa 5 pm and 9pm, Su 2pm. Through 9/20. $5-$30. B Street Theatre, 2711 B St.; (916) 443-5300; www.bstreettheatre.org.
