Thinking of buying a home in the Curtis Park area? Real-estate prices in the area can range anywhere from $300,000 to well over a million dollars. For those of us who can only dream of buying a home in the area, there’s the 19th annual Curtis Park Home and Garden Tour. This year’s tour will feature eight homes built between 1920 and 1935, including Tudor and Mediterranean styles of architecture. Tourgoers are invited to live vicariously through homeowners willing to show off their magnificent abodes. Proceeds from the event will benefit the 24th Street Theatre, the 49ers Plus Senior Center and the Sacramento Children’s Home. Take the tour this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets (which will cost you $20) will be available the day of the event at the Sierra 2 Center, located at 2791 24th Street. Call (916) 452-3005 for more information.
