Eight Gigs: Andrea Bocelli

Andrea Bocelli's hair has grayed and his face has realized new lines, but his voice has never faltered. His 1994 debut album, Il Mare Calmo della Sera, went gold, and he quickly became an international superstar. His second album, Bocelli, was certified platinum, and Sogno, his fifth album, was certified gold and platinum in the United States and Europe. He later released Manon Lescaut, the complete Puccini opera featuring Ana Maria Martinez and Placido Domingo. Bocelli's sung Christmas night at the Vatican and performed at the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty.
