Baseball’s not dead. It’s green.

On March 19, Major League Baseball announced a green partnership with the Natural Resources Defense Council. But was this a PR move or a conscious effort to clean up America’s ballparks and organizations, which draw hundreds of millions of fans each year nationwide? 1. A Team Greening Adviser will assist each team. Of course, this adviser isn’t a living, breathing human; it’s a software program.

2. Efficient irrigation and watering of fields at night will be implemented.

3. Clubs will arrange to donate leftover food so as to curb methane gas at landfills. Mmm, day-old Dinger Dogs …
