What is your favorite place to eat in the Sacramento area?

Sheila Wilson, Elk Grove

Osaka Sushi. It’s close to home, and they have excellent sesame chicken.

Los Jarritos. They’ve got good everything—especially the chicken taco combo plate and the flautas. And, it’s cheap.

2509 Broadway, (916) 455-7911

Jack Noel, Folsom

Mikuni in Midtown. They’ve got great sushi, great service and a great clientele.

Bandera, because it’s fun and they have great ribs and chicken. It’s a nice atmosphere, and it’s dark so you can’t see my wrinkles.

2232 Fair Oaks Boulevard, (916) 922-3524

Nick Linskiy, Citrus Heights

Famous Kabob. It’s Persian food. I like the way they prepare the meat. They have good shish kabobs and they serve warm pita bread and fresh vegetables that you eat with your hands. Lunch is only seven or eight bucks, and dinners are around ten to fifteen.

The Mustard Seed has excellent food that is always fresh. The menu is seasonal and changes monthly. It’s in an old restored house, or you can sit on big cushions on the patio outside. They have a great wine list, and the owners shop for the wine themselves. I actually found out about the restaurant when I met the owners at a wine tasting in Napa.

I like the variety at Crepeville in midtown, the outdoor seating and the casual atmosphere. Plus, the pancakes are great.

I’ve been going to Roma’s Pizzeria since I was in the first grade, and the food is still as good as it was then. The pizza has thick crust, the sauce is tasty, and the pasta and soup are good too.

Ernesto’s, because it has a nice relaxed atmosphere and good Mexican food. It’s a good place to enjoy a nice meal in a fun atmosphere.
