A preview, previewed

Right now the Sacramento Kings players seem to be lacking the chemistry they had in the first few weeks of the NBA season. Off the court, however, there's at least a lot of exuberance being thrown into a sneak peek at the new arena and its new food program. This Thursday, March 19, the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom will host an event being billed as “a state-of-the-art glimpse into Sacramento's new world class entertainment and sports center.” In other words, it'll feature virtual tours of the arena on Oculus Rift Headsets—plus California wine, local hors d’oeuvres, and food by chef Michael Tuohy. There will also be chances to learn about the Ag in the Classroom program, which teaches kids where food comes from. Tickets are $125, and there are two preview showings at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. It happens at a new venue dubbed the Experience Center, located at 660 J Street, Suite 444.
