Issue: September 16, 2010

Hi, folks,
It’s time for the results of our annual short fiction contest and the first place winner is a familiar name. It’s quick readingthe entries
are only 95 words long, after all. On the environmental front, Kat Kerlin explains the ins and outs of improving home grown fruits and vegetables by saving the seeds of the best produce. In news, shutdown looms over three state museums in Nevada. And food, film and faith get taken out for a ride.
Thanks for reading. Remember, if it weren’t for you, we couldn’t hold these contests.
