Fined Six Thousand and Five Hundred is finally getting a new name. The 19-year-old’s father recently succumbed to appeals by Vietnamese government officials to change his son’s name to Mai Hoang Long, meaning “golden dragon.” Much cooler, buddy. His father chose the name as a way of protesting the 6,500-dong fine ($0.40 USD) he had to pay for breaking the two-children-per-family policy in Vietnam.
