Republicans’ and Democrats’ views similar on four key issues

Toward the end of January, about a week before the Iowa caucuses, pollster Gallup asked Democrats and Republicans to rank the importance of 15 presidential campaign issues. Not surprisingly, the partisan groups were fairly divergent on certain ones. For example, 90 percent of Democrats said education was very important, compared with 67 percent of Republicans.
