Few office workers want their boss’ job

In honor of National Boss Day on Monday (Oct. 17), the research firm OfficeTeam conducted a survey of office-job workers to see how many of them would like to be the boss. Interestingly, the vast majority of those who responded have no desire to move up in the workplace. And the older the respondents, the less likely they were to want their manager’s job (35 percent of those 18-35 but just 8 percent of those 55 and older). Here are some of the findings:
