Put on your running shoes for the seventh annual Shamrock Shuffle

It’s about time to pull out the running shoes for Chico State’s annual Shamrock Shuffle.

The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Center (CADEC) is hosting the seventh annual walk, run and flapjack feed. The event provides students and community members with an alcohol-free way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Butte College and Chico State students participate for free. The event costs $15 for other adult participants and $8 for kids 17 and younger. The fun starts at 8 a.m. Saturday (March 13) with registration in front of Kendall Hall.

Entertainment this year includes live Irish music by Chico’s own The Pub Scouts and performances by the Oliver Academy of Irish Dance. Additionally, prizes will be given to participants who locate hidden shamrocks along the shuffle route. For more info, visit www.csuchico.edu/cadec.
