Delegates chosen

Democratic primary will determine which locals make it to convention

A dozen North State Democrats have an extra stake in how June’s California primary race pans out for their candidate following caucuses to elect congressional district-level delegates held last Sunday (May 1).

Six delegates (three male and three female) will be heading to Philadelphia in July for the Democratic National Convention, with the number from each camp depending on the percentage of votes each candidate gets in the primary. The top vote-getters at the Hillary Clinton caucus were Jane Dolan, Mike Worley, Jane Martin, Justin Meyers, Mamie Dinani and Casey Scott. Those for the Bernie Sanders caucus were Jon Luvaas, Diana Fogel, Randall Grace, Skyler Bond, Pamela Stowe and Laurel Palomares.
