Top-10 list of countries with most bikes per capita

There are now more than a billion bicycles on the planet, twice as many as there are cars. In Denmark, there are 4,500,000 bicycles for a population of 5,560,628. In the Netherlands, bike ownership is at a ratio of almost 1-to-1. In comparison, in the United States there are approximately 100 million bicycles owned by 310,936,000 people. Though cycling and bike-commuting are becoming more popular in the United States, our nation did not make the top-10 list of countries with the most bicycles per capita:
