Unborn in the USA: Inside the War on Abortion

Rated 5.0

Stephen Fell and Will Thompson set out to make a senior project for film class; it grew into a feature-length documentary that instead captured an up-close, behind-the-scenes look at the various branches of the anti-abortion movement. For those of us who seek to understand the opposition to reproductive freedom, this film is crucial. All aspects are represented, from the college students learning the tools of pro-life persuasion at a Focus on the Family seminar to the convicted clinic bomber who carefully explains both his motivation and his plan. Then there’s the artist who sculpts incredibly creepy—and decidedly unrealistic—dolls of fetuses at various stages of development. Watch for video shots of local activist Ron Brock (also known as “Crazy Truck Man”) in his familiar “truth truck” protesting in at least four other cities.
