I have seen Job for a Cowboy perform only once, at the 2007 Sounds of the Underground tour stop in San Jose. I was mostly there to see Gwar, and though I don’t claim to be a huge metal fan, I enjoy seeing it live. JFAC’s performance didn’t disappoint the hype from its debut Genesis; its follow up, Ruination, was equally popular. JFAC, along with headliner Between the Buried and Me, will blow out your eardrums out in the best way, even though I have no idea what the name Job for a Cowboy has to do with death metal. 1417 R Street, http://jfacmetal.com.
