Here’s an easy one to remember: SN&R hits newsstands on Thursdays, and every Thursday night at Midtown’s Blue Lamp, The MashUp presents Quality, a night of hip-hop deejays, turntablists and musicians. The flier tags the nights as an “indie hip-hop alternative” night, and so far, artists like DJ Statik and Planet Asia have made appearances at the club. This Thursday: venerable deejay mainstays DJ Mr. Vibe and DJ Oasis (pictured) will lay down hip-hop.
