Your eyes will cross and your mind will trip—but in the best way possible—when taking in the artwork of Michelle Weinstein. Fascinated by math and the fourth dimension, which she describes as the imagination of “space beyond three dimensions,” Weinstein constructs calculated geometric scenes, rife with jarring stripes and soothing gradations. She says her aim is to “create a hallucinatory new experience both as a visual work of art, and as the apprehension of a new dimension.” Hers is a controlled view in an uncontrollable world.
