Sister Crayon

Luigi’s Fun Garden, 8 p.m., $5

It feels like I’ve been writing about Sister Crayon for years. And that’s because I have. And so, SN&R’s annual update: The band will be playing its last local show for a “long time,” according to vocalist Terra Lopez, this Sunday. As I write this, they’re at The Hangar recording their second album—although their label has yet to release No. 1. And in December, they’ll shoot another music video, this time with the Masses Collective, who directed Beach House’s “Used to Be” video. Oh, and the first 20 in the door get a free Sister Crayon CD. Not to mention seeing Appetite, with a full band, and Seattle electronic outfit Truckasaurus. 1050 20th Street, www.sistercrayon.net.
