The group, led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, rose to fame in the late '60s and '70s with its psychedelic, hard-rock sound. Heart leaned toward mainstream music in the '80s and '90s, performing album-oriented rock and arena-rock ballads before returning to its original sound in the 2000s.
