That’s right: It’s Jammies’ “Battle of the Bands” season. This is the ninth year SN&R has put on its youth-music showcases, and over the next few weeks, local 18-and-under bands will perform gigs for a panel of “celebrity” judges, who will select the best of the bunch (who then will get the cool chance to perform onstage at the Crest Theatre on May 13). Pretty sweet deal. This week: Into the Open, the Trees, Uncle Tony, Smack Jupiter, No Where But Up and Crimson Sky (pictured) will play at Luigi’s for judges Debora Iyall, Josh Krage and Mark Gilmore.
