The Pamela Skinner/Gwenna Howard Contemporary Art gallery’s annual Dog & Cat show has a added a twist in its 11th year: horses. The group show traditionally contains dog- and cat-themed artwork, with a portion of the proceeds from sold work donated to animal welfare charities. This year, The Grace Foundation of Northern California, the El Dorado Hills-based equine rescuers and rehabilitators, will be the recipient of the funds. It’s an artful excuse to help save some critters’ lives.
