PostSecret

In the tradition of Found magazine, PostSecret offers intriguing glimpses into the lives of strangers. Every week, Frank, the site’s moderator, displays several secrets anonymously sent in from around the world on homemade postcards. The secrets are silly (“I only pick up my dog’s turds when people are watching”), sinful (“I had gay sex at church camp. Three times”), psychotic (“I once planned to kill my mother”), inspirational (“I believe I will accomplish something truly great in this lifetime. I will be 53 tomorrow”), heartbreaking (“I still haven’t told my father I have the same disease that killed my mother”) and shocking (“Everyone who knew me before 9/11 believes I am dead”). PostSecret is a tribute to the diversity of human existence and the transformative power of a single sentence.
